Calling all investors and lovers of historic homes with a knack for renovation. This 2,018 Sq. Ft. home built in 1935 offers much to someone with a discerning eye. 2” heart pine flooring and roofing still remain in much of the home and there is also bead board ceiling in the front part of the home. The sheetrock walls could use a fresh coat of paint but are in great condition overall and feature picture frame moulding around the top. Additionally, the wooden interior doors appear to be original to the home. Large rooms with high ceilings with a central breezeway that features opposing front and rear doors opening onto large covered porches fore and aft to keep you cool in the summer and fireplaces in 4 of the rooms for warmth on a chilly night is southern architecture at it’s finest. Currently the long term tenants are using window units and natural gas heaters to also aid in cooling and heating. The electric water heater and roof were installed approximately 6 to 5 years ago and the electrical was updated in 2025. Some of the plumbing was updated in 2026 but there is still much that can be done to bring sparkle to this gem in the rough. With it’s location on the main thoroughfare and it’s proximity to what Sparta has to offer, there is only potential to be had in this home. No blind offers.
